Ekokompost™ is a microbiological fertiliser preparation intended for composting of organic waste. The product contains specially selected, natural strains of bacteria characterised by rapid degradation of a wide spectrum of matter, including leaves and needles. The obtained compost contains numerous substances that support the growth of plants and slow down water loss during drought (osmoprotectants).
The speed of composting depends on the ambient temperature (not lower than 4°C), appropriate air ventilation, and humidity. Maintaining a level of moisture by periodic water spraying is advised due to the specificity of the process.
Each package contains 250 g of the preparation. This amount is enough to compost up to 3 m3 of organic substance.
